Unfortunately, not at this time. Though we would love to, there are technology constraints that do not allow us to do so. We are working on it and hope to come up with a solution soon. For updates, please stay tuned on our social media pages. We appreciate your interest in Knoee.
-
If I buy many Knoees, can I share them with friends and family?
Knoees can be shared as long as those you are sharing with have a compatible phone and have downloaded the free Knoee app. Do note that two phones cannot connect to one Knoee simultaneously, many Knoees may be connected to one phone at a time. If you are purchasing a Knoee many-pack and would like to give away some of the Knoees, please feel free to do so!
-
What is the difference between connect and locate?
Connect is when a Knoee is paired with one phone and the button on the Knoee is used for a function on the phone like activating the camera for taking a selfie, etc. Locate is the non-pairing mode that does not allow for any functions to be done using the button on the Knoee but just locate the Knoee.
-
What are the functions that I can use on the phone with the help of the button on the Knoee?
We are still in the process of increasing the functions, though a few are already in place. For instance, you can use the button to control the phone’s camera to take a selfie, to play music on your phone, contact your favorite person and also make PowerPoint and Keynote presentations on your Mac-book.

When a Knoee goes out of the range, you will get an alert stating so. If there are other Knoee users in the vicinity, their Knoee app can still alert you for your thing without bothering them.
-
How does the other Knoee app know about me? Do I need an Internet connection for Knoee to work?
Though an Internet connection is not necessary there are benefits of being connected to it. First, any changes in settings that you make to a Knoee will get saved on the Knoee cloud. Second, with the help of the Internet, the app can utilise the GPS service on your phone that will accurately point out the Knoees last seen location on the map. Without Internet only the last seen date and time would be recorded. Third, an Internet connection enables Crowd GPS.
-
What is Crowd GPS?
When you mark an item as 'lost', the entire Knoee community of users will anonymously and securely help you find your thing. If another Knoee user passes within range of your thing, you will receive an alert and a pinned notification on your map. With this feature, your search is expanded to any part of the world. The more family and friends in the Knoee community, the better the chances of finding your things are!
